Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)

Assessing an individual's ability/inability to perform these tasks provides a baseline assessment of their needs and can often indicate the nature of a client's illness or disability and the likely long term implications of this.

Depending upon the activities of daily living that an individual is having difficulty with occupational therapists are able to provide recommendations for equipment or adaptations that would promote the client's independence and enable them to perform these daily tasks to the best of their ability.

Our Occupational Therapist provides individualised treatment programmes to promote client's independence and ensure that they are fulfilling their potential. This may be a functional rehabilitation programme or a treatment programme focusing on alternative ways of undertaking specific activities of daily living.

Whatever the nature of a client's illness or disability and whatever daily tasks they are having difficulty with Constructive Therapy guarantees to provide a solution that is cost effective and the most beneficial to the client.
